From all of us at Living Lands & Waters, thanks to everyone who helped with the Dubuque, IA river cleanup held Sunday, October 21. Forty-five volunteers and the LL&W crew collected 1,500 pounds of garbage consisting of tires, barrels, corrugated tubing, an air conditioner, scrap metal and much more!
This was our final river cleanup this season, but there are still tree planting and invasive plant removal projects scheduled before the year ends. If you’re interested in volunteering, please check out the Riverbottom Restoration Program schedule.
Thanks again for making this cleanup such a success, and for all you do for our organization and the river! We’re already planning next year’s schedule, so keep checking for updates. We hope to see you again soon!
