Living Lands & Waters Events

Due to the current concerns surrounding COVID-19, all public Living Lands & Waters RIVER CLEANUP events have been suspended until further notice. We do have volunteer opportunities at our tree nursery in Davenport, IA and our I-80 Restoration Project site in East Moline, IL. Sign-up links available below!

Thank you for your understanding. Stay safe & healthy!

Upcoming Volunteer Events

  • Tree Nursery Maintenance

We need plenty of helping hands at our MillionTrees Project Tree nursery to assist with some weed pulling so our oak saplings can grow and thrive! Multiple dates available - but we're flexible, so just reach out if there is a day or time that you'd like to stop by to help and we'll see if we can make it happen!

  • Invasive Species Removal

We need some helping hands at our I-80 Restoration Project in East Moline, IL, to assist with removing invasive honeysuckle and planting some native milkweed.

To follow state guidelines, we'll only be accepting nine volunteers per date at a first-come, first-serve basis. We ask that volunteers be at least 16 years old.

For more details and to sign up, follow the link below to our online registration form.

Where on Earth is that LL&W Crew???

Check out our upcoming events or our event calendar to get a peek at what we are up to and, better yet, our current events that you can get involved in!

Please note, this schedule is TENTATIVE and subject to changes. All volunteers must register using our online forms and each event has its own form. Spots are first-come, first served. If you no longer see your desired opportunity listed on our site, the event is at maximum capacity.
